Ages 6 to 13 years
Swimmer 1
These beginners will learn basic swimming skills such as floats, glides and kicking as well as getting comfortable in the water. In this level, they will begin to exhale underwater, begin to learn how to tread water and learn front crawl.
Swimmer 2
In this level, swimmers will learn to kick further distances and practice swimming strokes such as front and back crawl. They will begin to jump into deep water and work on swim to survive skills such as rolling into the water, treading and swimming in a continuous sequence.
Swimmer 3
In this level, children will be swimming further distances and begin to learn the skills required for performing breast stroke. They will be diving into the water and work more on their endurance in the water.
Swimmer 4
This level will continue to work on the skills required for breaststroke and more fitness skills that will further improve endurance in the water. Children will tread water for longer time and swim further distances.
Swimmer 5
In this exciting level, children will learn to swim breaststroke and refine their technique when swimming front and back crawl. They will be challenged with swimming further distances and improving their fitness skills in the water.
Swimmer 6
In this level, children will be preparing for lifesaving levels by learning a variety of lifesaving kicks and entries into the water. They will perform a 300 metre workout and correct their technique when swimming different strokes in the water.
